Một bất ngờ lý thú cho CĐNVTD/ WOLLONGONG: trong ngày Đại Hội Thường Niên (AGM) của Tổ Chức Đa Văn Hoá vùng ILLAWARRA, dân biểu Paul Scully MP đã đại diện Thủ Hiến NSW Dominic Perottet trao giải Community Service Award cho chị Trần Hương Thuỷ, chủ tịch cộng đồng Người Việt Tự Do Wollongong của chúng ta.

Trong phần phát biểu, chị Thuỷ đã nói: "Chúng tôi rất hân hạnh nhận giải thưởng của Chánh Quyền NSW, tuy nhiên đây là sự công nhận những đóng góp tích cực của cả Cộng Đồng chúng tôi tại địa phương mà trong đó tôi là một thành viên. Tôi hãnh diện được thay mặt cho tất cả đồng hương của tôi để có mặt ngày hôm nay “

Để có một xã hội tốt đẹp không gì bằng tất cả cùng góp một bàn tay - Chúng tôi tin như thế và chúng tôi khuyến khích con cháu chúng tôi cùng tin như thế. At the AGM of the MCCI on Tuesday, 6th Dec 2022, Ms Teresa Tran was presented the “NSW Premier's Awards - Community Service Award” signed by The premier of New South Wales, and by Mr Paul Scully, state MP for the Wollongong - who presented her this award.

Teresa said “it’s such a lovely surprise. I am humble to receive this award , but it’s not for myself. I represent the Vietnamese Community in Wollongong and I dedicate this award to all the members of our community. We are a small community in size but large in spirit.

We helped raise donations for many worthy cause during the past years - whether an emergency/disaster in Australia or overseas. No matter who we are or where we are from, we always want to give back to society.

Thank you very much to Mr Paul Scully MP, for Wollongong, for presenting this award to me today.
Thank you Mr Ken Kabak MCCI , the Lord Mayor for your ongoing support to our community.
