Chiều nay Budapest mưa, mưa rơi xuống những cái cây ngoài vườn, tạo thành những âm thanh khiến người xa xứ ngỡ đang ngồi trong mái nhà của mình ở quê mẹ.

Quê mẹ tôi ở gần làng Nhị Khê, nhà bà ngoại tôi là một gian nhà gỗ, mái gianh, nền đất. Ngoài vườn có nhiều cây, có một bụi tre to, một cây sấu, một vườn chuối. Những lúc nào mưa rơi xuống trên tàu lá chuối, tôi ngồi dưới hiên nhà, nhớ mẹ vô cùng. Những ngày hè mẹ tôi gửi tôi về quê cho bà ngoại trông, để mẹ còn đi bán hàng rong trên vỉa hè quanh chỗ Hồ Gươm.

Với tôi cảm giác xa nhà vào một chiều mưa, nhìn ra ngoài vườn thấy những hạt mưa rơi xuống tàu lá chuối là thứ đáng sợ nhất. Sợ vì âm thanh liên tục dồn dập đến phũ phàng, và sợ vì tàu lá chuối cứ rách dần theo những hạt mưa tưởng là mềm mại ấy. Những thứ ấy làm tôi liên tưởng đến số phận của con người, cứ mỗi lần bầm dập, mỗi lần tơi tả cả hình hài lẫn thể xác.

Bao giờ bạn cô đơn, xa xứ, tương lai mịt mùng, gánh theo những gánh nặng lớn. Bạn sẽ hiểu được cảm giác nhìn mưa rơi trên tàu lá chuối, trong một khu vườn của một nhà nghèo ở vùng quê.

Mưa làm tôi rảnh, tôi có dịp nghĩ lại về chuyện Trịnh Xuân Thanh. Bắt đầu từ những người đến gặp tôi trước đây và những người hôm tối thứ bảy qua. Họ có phải là một tổ chức không.? Phải chăng đấy là một tổ chức trong đảng CSVN đang muốn đấu đá nhau, vì lẽ nào đó họ nhờ tôi đăng tải điều họ muốn.?

Dường như đó không phải là một tổ chức nào cả. Đó chỉ là những người bạn, người quen của Thanh vì tình cảm gì đó mà họ giúp nhau.

Những cũng không thể loại trừ, đó là những người cùng hội thuyền phải bao che cho Thanh để tránh cuộc thanh trừng phe phái trong Đảng, điều mà có thể dẫn đến sự nguy hiểm cho cả bọn. Nếu không phải là một tổ chức, làm sao Thanh có thể xuất hiện cười hề hề trong tấm ảnh cầm chứng minh thư và bằng lái xe của tôi.

Trên những cân nhắc của sự phân tích , kết quả nghiêng về hướng những người đó là một tổ chức. Như nhiều người cũng nghĩ vây.

Nhưng các bạn đọc của Dê Tế Thần phần trước xin cho tôi nói cảm giác của mình. Ở phần trước tôi chỉ kể những gì trải qua, tôi không đưa ra nhận định của mình, tôi không khẳng định họ là ai, hồ sơ của họ đưa tôi có phải là tuyệt mật gì hay không. Nếu các bạn đọc chậm và kỹ sẽ thấy được điều đó.

Mặc dù họ nói, mặc dù cái cách họ đi lại rất khiến cho người ta hình dung đó là một nhóm.

Nhưng tôi thì vẫn lợn cợn.

Tôi kể các bạn nghe chuyện này, trước kia tôi là người rất ham cá đô bóng đá, lúc mà nhiều người muốn đánh bóng đá phải gọi điện hay đặt tiền cho người đứng ra nhận độ. Thì tôi có trang cá độ của mình, thích đánh lúc nào, bao nhiêu tuỳ ý. Ở Hà Nội lúc ấy những người có trang mạng riêng để chơi như vậy không nhiều.

Một hôm chẳng có trận bóng đá của giải lớn nào như Ý, Đức, Tây Ban Nha, Braxin, C1, C2...quá nghiện tôi đi mò đánh giải bóng đá của một nước ất ơ như Chi Lê. Dân cá độ gọi những trận bóng trong nước của các quốc gia đó là '' bóng cỏ ''.

Có một trận đấu giữa đội nhì bảng và đội bét bảng diễn ra trên sân đội nhì bảng. Độ ra chấp đồng banh, tức hoà đội chủ nhà nhì bảng thua nửa tiền. Trên những cơ sở đó, mấy ai mà không đánh đội chủ nhà đang nhì bảng.

Trận ấy tôi đánh 100 usd cho đội bét bảng, đánh thử xem thế nào. Kết cục là hoà, tôi được một nửa tiền. Hoà không có bàn thắng nào cả.

Tôi trầm ngâm nghĩ về trận bóng đó rất nhiều, rồi hôm sau tôi trả lại trang mạng, quyết định từ giã không bao giờ cá độ bóng đá nữa, mặc dù tôi đã thua mấy trăm triệu. Bởi từ trận bóng đó, tôi không còn tin tưởng vào thông số, thống kê, dữ liệu mẹ gì nữa cả. Cờ bạc thì ăn nhau may rủi, theo cảm giác, cờ bạc mà tính được thì đã không là cờ bạc.

Tôi chỉ còn giữ hai thứ chơi, đó là gà chọi và cờ tướng. Hai món chơi đòi hỏi nhiều về sự tính toán chứ không phải là may rủi. Tuy nhiên thì ngay cả cờ tướng, sự may rủi nhiều khi cũng có vì những bước đi bị phân tâm.

Nói lại những người quen của Trịnh Xuân Thanh gặp tôi. Cảm giác tôi nghĩ đó là những người bạn, những người đã có thời gian nào đó sống với Thanh, làm việc, học hành hoặc chơi bời gì đó hơn là một nhóm có tổ chức càng lớn hơn trong đầu tôi.

Nếu họ chỉ là những người bạn, không phải một nhóm liên quan lợi ích với nhau. Liệu tôi có thất vọng không, vì mục đích ban đầu của tôi là đồng ý tiếp sức với họ vì nghĩ họ là một nhóm lớn trong đảng CSVN muốn đấu nhau với nhóm CS khác.

Không, bỗng dưng tôi vui nếu như cảm giác của mình đúng.

Bởi điều đó có nghĩa là gì.? Bởi nó có nghĩa có nhiều người quá chán ghét cộng sản , bởi trong những giờ phút mà số phận Trịnh Xuân Thanh thế này, họ vẫn bên cạnh Thanh. Không phải vì lợi ích gì cả, mà vì một cái gì đó khó tả khiến họ không sợ bị liên luỵ, không sợ bị nguy hiểm khi đứng bên cạnh Trịnh Xuân Thanh. Đó là sự chán ghét chế độ cộng sản mà chính những người như họ, những quan chức cộng sản loại làng nhàng có tiềm ẩn trong người. Nếu thực sự là vậy, tôi nghĩ những con người ấy còn là sự đáng sợ hơn cho chế độ này gấp ngàn lần nếu họ là một nhóm cộng sản đấu đá nhau.

Trong đó là sự hỗn hợp của quan hệ bạn bè và sự âm thầm phản đối chế độ cộng sản mà chính họ là những người cộng sản. Một tâm lý mâu thuẫn có lẽ phải có người làm triết học, tâm lý học phần tích, còn tôi không đủ năng lực để lý giải cảm giác của mình.

Bây giờ tôi mới nhận được bài viết của một người, nói là bạn của Thanh. Khiến cảm giác của tôi càng thấy có cơ sở hơn khi nghĩ rằng làn sóng chán ghét chế dộ Cộng Sản đang lan rộng trong hàng ngũ đảng viên cấp dưới.

Tôi đăng bài viết này, không phải vì thông tin trong đó, không phải vì nó hay, nó độc đáo gì ở nội dung. Cái hay và độc đáo nhất của nó nằm ở chỗ, đây là bài viết của một người trong chế độ này, đang chán ghét và bất mãn về chế độ cộng sản. Một người bạn của Trịnh Xuân Thanh đã bắt đầu giúp thêm sức cho anh ta.

Ngày mai và ngày kia tôi sẽ không có bài viết nào, hãy dành cho tù nhân lương tâm Cấn Thị Thêu, Nguyễn Hữu Vinh, Nguyễn Thị Minh Thuý ..những người hùng thực sự quả cảm và kiên định như thế, họ có được sự quan tâm chia sẻ của nhân dân, trong những ngày họ phải đứng trước toà để chịu những lời phán xét của bọn nhơ bẩn, độc ác và tham tàn.

Gửi Người Buôn Gió

Lần trước tôi đã gửi cho anh bài thế hệ 6x của chúng tôi đang làm gì và cuộc sống hàng ngày của họ như thế nào ở Việt Nam.

Sự gian hùng của Nguyễn Phú Trọng và con dê tế thần TXT.

Blog NBG đã đăng bài viết của TXT gửi các anh chị trong BCT và Ban bí Thư (BBT), trong đó khi đề cập đến tính chất đàn áp không tuân thủ pháp luật, chà đạp lên quyền con người lên người dân, và đặc biệt trong sự kiện TXT, Nguyễn Phú Trọng bằng cách chỉ đạo tuyên truyền chụp mũ BBT, UBKTTW Đảng kết luận sai lệch về TXT, biến TXT thành con dê tế thần trong mục tiêu thanhtrừng những đối thủ, đồng chí trong BCT mà khoátrước coi thường Nguyễn Phú Trọng, không cùng phe nhóm với Nguyễn Phú Trọng. Trong lá thư đấy TXT đã chỉ ra Nguyễn Phú Trọng chỉ đạo bắt giữ TXT nếu có mặt tại Hà Nội. Đêm 16.09.2016 điều TXT nói trong lá thư đã được Bộ CA thực hiện theo chỉ đạo của Nguyễn Phú Trọng, khởi tố vụ án với tiêu đề cố ý làm trái gây hậu quả nghiêm trọng đối với một số nhân vật ở PVC và lôi TXT vàocùng tội danh này. Sau đó Bộ CA lập tức có Quyết định truy nã đối với TXT. Bộ CA dưới sự chỉ đạo,áp đạt của TBT Nguyễn Phú Trọng đã bất chấp luật pháp, tiến hành bắt giữ và khám xét các công dân vô tội. Bộ CA theo quyết định bắt giữ và khám xét dựa vào điều 165 Luật hình sự VN đã hết hiệu lực như nghị quyết của quốc hội là vi phạm quyền con người, luật pháp hiện hành. Đặc biệt qua các tài liệu đã được các cơ quan chức năng của VN (Bộ Công Thương, kiểm toán nhà nước, thanh tra CP, chính Bộ CA và Thủ tướng Chínhphủ) đều kết luận thua lỗ ỏ PVC đều khôngdo TXT gây ra. Bộ CA đã bắt người trái phép, tạm giam các cán bộ của Tổng Công ty XLDK khi chưa có kết luận là họ có tội và dùng đúng các qui trình cũ là bức cung, nhục hình,ép cung, gây dựng chứng cớ giả, biến một cuộc trả thù hèn hạ của TBT Nguyễn Phú Trọng thành một vụ án hình sự kinh tế (Nguyễn Phú Trọng muốn biến một cuộc thanh trừng đấu đá nội bộ, âm mưu chính trị, trù dập đồng chí của mình thành một vụ án kinh tế.

Về vấn đề này báo chí Việt Nam theo chỉ đạo của Nguyễn Phú Trọng luôn mang ra so sánh với cuộc thanh trừng nội bộ của Tập Cận Bình tại Trung Quốc với tiêu đề mĩ miều là Đả Hổ Diệt Ruồi. Thực ra khi Tập Cận Bình lên TBT Trung Quốc,ông ta chỉ là phó Chủ Tịch nước và Phó Bí Thư Quân Ủy TƯ, không có vai trò gì trong các chính sách xây dựng kinh tế cũng như chính trị của người tiền nhiệm Giang Trạch Dân. Nguyễn Phú Trọngthì ngược lại như trong bài viết trước của tôi: Nguyễn Phú Trọng - Rắn giả Lươn phần 1, tham gia vào tất cả các chính sách về xây dựng kinh tế cũng như chính trị từ 2006 đến 2015, và Nguyễn Phú Trọng phải chịu trách nhiệm chính về các hậu quả sai trái trong thời gian này. Vì vậy việc Nguyễn Phú Trọng đang làm chỉ thể hiện rõ bản chất của ông ta là hèn nhát, dối trá,phủi trách nhiệm.Tốt thì nhận về mình, xấu thì đổ cho đồng chí và cấp dưới. Nguyễn Phú Trọng làm được điều này vì trong 18 Ủy Viên BCT không còn người nào như Nguyễn Tấn Dũng (NTD) và Trương Tấn Sang (TrTS) làm đối trọng. Liệu có phải như vậy không? Nguyễn Phú Trọng có che mắt được 18 Ủy Viên BCT mới hay không? Khi mà tôi là một người ngoài cuộc còn biết như vậy, thì họ chắc chắn là biết, và chỉ đợi Nguyễn Phú Trọng xảy chân và có người đưa các âm mưu và thủ đoạn của Trọng ra công luận thì ông ta cũng sẽ bị khởi tố về tội thiếu trách nhiệm gây hậu quả nghiêm trọng, cố ý làm trái gây hậu quả nghiêm trọng, tham nhũng, thông qua các luật định chống lại nhân dân và quyền con người.
Cùng ngày 16.9 Bộ CA cũng ra quyết định khởi tố và truy nã TXT cũng theo điều 165 Bộ Luật hình sự VN đã hết hạn từ 01.07.2016.

Gió thân mến, TXT có gửi Email cho tôi thông qua bài viết này nhờ anh liên hệ và khẳng định với các luật sư Lê Công Định và Trần Vũ Hải ủy quyền cho 2 luật sư này bảo vệ quyền lợi hợp pháp cho TXT tại VN và TXT cũng đề nghị và thách thức TBT Nguyễn Phú Trọng, Bộ CA, cục C46 Bộ CA đưa ra bằng chứng là TXT cố ý làm trái về vấn đề gì ở PVC đưa công khailên báo (chứ đừng nói chung chung là thua lỗ 3.200 tỉ mà ai cũng biết đã có kết luận của chính phủ là không phải do cá nhân TXT) Nếu đúng TXT vi phạm,anh ta sẽ xuất hiện và thực thi công lý. Bộ CA và Nguyễn Phú Trọng không cần phải truy nã,khởi tố trái pháp luật, vi phạm bộ luật Hình sự VN như vậy.

TXT có đề nghị khiếu kiện và truy tố Nguyễn Phú Trọng ra toà án trong nước cũng như nước ngoài về những tội danh như sau:

Thời kỳ Nguyễn Phú Trọng làm Bí Thư thành ủy HN

1. Nguyễn Phú Trọngđã thông qua vợ con và chính mình mua rẻ đất và biệt thự của các dự án do mình cấp đất như trong bài viết NPT - Rắn giả Lươn phần 1 đã nêu, rồi bán để thu lợi bất chính hàng chục tỉ đồng.Đây là hành vi tham nhũng (với tội danh này theo bộ luật hình sự của VN, nếu tham nhũngtrên 500 triệu là có thể tử hình
2. Chỉ đạo cho CA và chính quyền địa phương HN tịch thu đất của bà con ở huyện Đông Anh tại các xã Vân Trì, Nam Hồng để làm sân gôn cho Hàn Quốc, gây chết người. Đây là hành động trấn áp những người dân thường, vi phạm hiến pháp của Việt Nam và thế giới về quyền con người, quyền được ở, quyền được sở hữu cá nhân (với tội danh này thì theo bộ luật HS của VN có thể tù cao nhất là chung thân)

3. Còn rất nhiều việc mà Nguyễn Phú Trọng vi phạmpháp luật tại HN. Đề nghị các anh chị theo dõi Blog cũng như nhân dân HN theo dõi bài này phát hiện và đăng thêm để chúng tôi thu thập hồ sơ gửi tòa.

4. Tại Quốc hội Nguyễn Phú Trọng không thông qua các tờ trình quốc hội của chính phủ về quyền con người (luật biểu tình, luật thành lập công đoàn độc lập, luật tự do báo chí vv…). Đây là những quyền cá nhân cơ bản của con người, mặc dù đã được chínhphủ trình quốc hội nhưng Nguyễn Phú Trọng với vai trò chủ tịch Quốc hội nhất định không thông qua (với tội danh chống lại nhân dân, chống lại những quyền cơ bản của con người, theo luật hình sự của VN có thể bị tù từ 20 năm cho đến tử hình

5. Đặc biệt là giai đoạn Nguyễn Phú Trọng làm TBT trước và sau đại hội 12, dưới sự lãnh đạo toàn diện và tối cao của Nguyễn Phú Trọng đã xảy ra những việc đặc biệt gây hậu quả trầm trọng cho đất nước và con người VN mà Nguyễn Phú Trọng phải chịu trách nhiệm như sau:
- Vụ xả nước thải của Formosa gây ô nhiễm toàn bộ biển miền Trung (Cố ý chỉ đạo làm trái gây hậu quả vô cùng nghiêm trọng, bao che cho tội phạm, hủy hoại môi trường mang tính đặc biệt nghiêm trọng gây hại cho hàng chục triệu người dân miền Trung. Theo luật hình sự VN, ba tội này có thể tử hình)
- Việc hai máy bay rơi của quân đội mà Trọng làTBT kiêm bí thư quân ủy TƯ là người cao nhất phải chịu trách nhiệm (đây là tội thiếu trách nhiệm trên cương vị là tổng chỉ huy gây thất thoát tài sản lớn và chiến sỹ. Với tội danh này theo lật hình sự VN cũng có thể nặng nhất là chung thân đến tử hình)
- Việc Bí thư tỉnh ủy, phó bí thư kiêm chủ tịch hội đồng nhân dân tỉnh Yên Bái bị bắn chết. Đây là những người trực tiếp doNguyễn Phú Trọng bổ nhiệm và chịu trách nhiệm chỉ đạo theo ngạch Đảng (đây là tội buông lỏng quản lý, thiếu trách nhiệm để cho cấp dưới trực tiếp bắn giết nhau gây hậu quả nghiêm trọng. Theo Điều lệ Đảng thì Nguyễn Phú Trọngphải bị khai trừ Đảng, theoluật hình sự với tội thiếu trách nhiệm cũng có thể bị xử phạt tới 20 năm tù)
- Hàng loạt các vụ việc như Trầm Bê (ngân hàng Phương Nam), thua lỗ của Hoàng Anh Gia Lai, vv… (với những tội trên, cần phải đưa Nguyễn Phú Trọng ra tòa).
Kính gửi bà con nhân dân trong và ngoài nước, mong bà con nhân dân bổ sung cập nhật thêm những tộiphạm của Nguyễn Phú Trọng mà chúng tôi chưa được biết để chúng tôi tập hợp và đưa Nguyễn Phú Trọng ra xét xử trước tòa án trong nước và quốc tế (với toà án trong nước TXT đã có ủy quyền cho các luật sư Lê Công Định và Trần Vũ Hải, với tòa án quốc tế, chúng tôi và TXT sẽ ủy quyền cho các luật sư nước ngoài).

Defense Secretary Ash Carter said Monday that American forces stationed in South Korea need to be prepared to “fight tonight” given the nuclear threat from North Korea.

“It’s not a game,” Carter said during remarks on U.S. defense policy at the Hoover Institution in Washington, D.C. “The slogan of U.S. Forces Korea, many of you probably know, is ‘fight tonight.’ Not because that’s what we want to do, but because that’s what we have to be able to do and we are ready to do.”

Carter’s comments came less than two weeks after Pyongyang said it had successfully detonated a nuclear warhead, the repressive regime’s fifth and most powerful nuclear test. North Korea has continued to pursue nuclear development in defiance of sanctions from the United States and United Nations.

Carter emphasized the “strong” forward presence that U.S. forces maintain in the region to shield allies against threats from North Korea. Roughly 28,500 American troops are currently stationed in South Korea to deter aggression from Pyongyang.

“We have a very strong presence there. Our South Korean allies get stronger every day,” Carter said. “We have a strong ally in Japan. But, unfortunately, the diplomatic picture is bleak. We continue to be open to an improvement in that, try to get Russia and China and others interested down that road but it’s hard to project that that’s where it’s going.”

“Therefore, for me, as far as into the future as I can see, we need to stand strong in deterrence,” the defense secretary added.

North Korea’s Sept. 9 nuclear test drew ire from President Obama, who condemned it as “a grave threat to regional security and to international peace and stability” and threatened to impose new sanctions on the regime.

Many say that the Obama administration has not done enough to deter North Korea, which in January claimed to have successfully tested a hydrogen bomb and later announced that it had miniaturized nuclear warheads to fit on ballistic missiles.

A bipartisan report issued by the Council on Foreign Relations last week said that the United States’ policy of “strategic patience” will neither stop Pyongyang’s provocations nor stabilize the region in the future.

“North Korea’s accelerating nuclear and missile programs pose a grave and expanding threat to the territory of U.S. allies, to U.S. personnel stationed in the region, and to the continental United States,” the report’s task force, which included Adm. Mike Mullen, former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, wrote.

The test has spotlighted North Korea’s relationship with China, which has not deterred leader Kim Jong Un from provocative actions despite urgings from the United States. North Korea announced the latest nuclear test just as Obama returned from a days-long trip to Asia during which he met with Chinese President Xi Jinping to celebrate joint action on climate change amid increasing destabilization in the Asia-Pacific.

Carter said the United States is working to “stay ahead” of the missile threat from North Korea by investing in missile defense.

“Missile defense is a difficult thing. When it comes to a major nuclear threat like that posed by Russia, we know and we have long known we have no way to protect ourselves except deterrence, but we don’t accept that with respect to North Korea and we’re not going to for as long as we can possibly avoid it. So, we do aspire to protection of ourselves and we invest a lot in trying to stay ahead of what they’re doing,” Carter said.

“We’ve got North Korea, we’ve got Iran, talking about problematic situations, we’ve got Russia, the Asia-Pacific generally, and of course ISIL, which we’re destroying,” Carter added, using another name for the Islamic State or ISIS. “We’ve got plenty to do today, but North Korea is one of these things that just never seems to go away.”

The Bank For International Settlements Warns That A Major Debt Meltdown In China Is Imminent

The pinnacle of the global financial system is warning that conditions are right for a “full-blown banking crisis” in China.

Since the last financial crisis, there has been a credit boom in China that is really unprecedented in world history. At this point the total value of all outstanding loans in China has hit a grand total of more than 28 trillion dollars. That is essentially equivalent to the commercial banking systems of the United States and Japan combined. While it is true that government debt is under control in China, corporate debt is now 171 percent of GDP, and it is only a matter of time before that debt bubble horribly bursts. The situation in China has already grown so dire that the Bank for International Settlements is sounding the alarm…

A key gauge of credit vulnerability is now three times over the danger threshold and has continued to deteriorate, despite pledges by Chinese premier Li Keqiang to wean the economy off debt-driven growth before it is too late.

The Bank for International Settlements warned in its quarterly report that China’s “credit to GDP gap” has reached 30.1, the highest to date and in a different league altogether from any other major country tracked by the institution. It is also significantly higher than the scores in East Asia’s speculative boom on 1997 or in the US subprime bubble before the Lehman crisis.

Studies of earlier banking crises around the world over the last sixty years suggest that any score above ten requires careful monitoring.

Even Wikipedia admits that “it is not accountable to any single national government.” The Bank for International Settlements was used to launder money for the Nazis during World War II, but these days the main purpose of the BIS is to guide and direct the centrally-planned global financial system. Today, 58 global central banks belong to the BIS, and it has far more power over how the U.S. economy (or any other economy for that matter) will perform over the course of the next year than any politician does. Every two months, the central bankers of the world gather in Basel for another “Global Economy Meeting”. During those meetings, decisions are made which affect every man, woman and child on the planet, and yet none of us have any say in what goes on. The Bank for International Settlements is an organization that was founded by the global elite and it operates for the benefit of the global elite, and it is intended to be one of the key cornerstones of the emerging one world economic system.

Normally the Bank for International Settlements is not prone to making extremely bold pronouncements, and so this warning about China seems a bit out of character.

Is something going on behind the scenes that we don’t know about?

Without a doubt, the global financial system is shakier and more vulnerable than most people would dare to imagine. Global central banks have been on the greatest money creation spree in recorded history, and interest rates have been pushed to ridiculously low levels.

If you can believe it, approximately 10 trillion dollars worth of bonds are trading at negative interest rates right now. This is completely and utterly irrational, and when this giant bond bubble finally explodes it is going to create a crisis unlike anything the world has ever seen before.

Just recently, Michael Pento of Pento Portfolio Strategies commented on this bubble…

He said the current financial conditions are “the most dangerous markets i have ever witnessed in my entire life – and i’ve been investing for over 25 years… The membrane has been stretched so wide and so tight that its about to burst.”

Pento believes that once the bond crash happens, it will trigger a cataclysmic wave of crashes throughout the entire global financial system…

Mr Pento has now warned that when policymakers signal they are set to stop buying, which will stop bond prices rising, there is going to be a devastating crash – not just in bond markets but across all investment assets.

He said: “When the bond market breaks, when that bubble bursts, it will wipe out every asset, everything will collapse together… I mean diamonds, sports cars, mutual funds, municipal bonds, fixed income, reits, collateralised loan obligations, stocks, bonds – even commodities – will collapse in tandem along with the bond bubble burst.”

Many had been anticipating that we would have already seen a major financial crash in 2016, but so far things have been pretty stable, and this has lulled many into a false sense of complacency.

But it is important to remember that we have seen corporate earnings fall for five quarters in a row, and it is expected to be six when the final numbers for the third quarter come in.

Never before in history have we had a stretch like this without major economic and financial consequences. The following comes from a recent Fortune article which referred to an earlier piece authored by Jim Bianco…

None of this, however, is apparent from how stock market indexes have been moving lately, which unlike the charts above have been going up and to the right. “Since 1947, every time profits fell this much, or for this long, a recession was either underway or about to begin,” writes Bianco. “The only exception was the middle of 1986 to early 1987.”

If you remember, there was a pretty important event that happened in 1987: A massive stock market crash that sapped close to 30% of the S&P 500’s value in just five days.

It is only a matter of time before this earnings recession takes a major bite out of Wall Street.

Stock prices can stay at irrationally high levels for quite a while, but history has shown that every bubble bursts eventually.

And when this bubble bursts, it is going to make 2008 look like a walk in the park.

House panel looking into Reddit post about Clinton's email server
The House Oversight Committee is reviewing a Reddit post that alleges an IT specialist who worked on Hillary Clinton’s private server sought advice on how to alter the contents of “VERY VIP” emails, according to Rep. Mark Meadows (R-N.C.).

Meadows is the chairman of the panel’s Government Operations subcommittee.

“The Reddit post issue and its connection to Paul Combetta is currently being reviewed by OGR staff and evaluations are being made as to the authenticity of the post,” Meadows told The Hill.

Reddit users appear to have uncovered a two-year-old post from an account believed to belong to Combetta, an engineer with Platte River Networks. The Denver, Colo.-based firm managed Clinton’s private server.

The post, which has been deleted but can be read in images archived by Reddit users, coincides with the discovery of Clinton’s use of the server.

“I may be facing a very interesting situation where I need to strip out a VIP’s (VERY VIP) email address from a bunch of archived email… Basically, they don’t want the VIP’s email address exposed to anyone, and want to be able to either strip out or replace the email address in the to/from fields in all of the emails we want to send out,” reads the post, by a user called "stonetear."

“Does anyone have experience with something like this, and/or suggestions on how this might be accomplished?”

Combetta is currently one of the targets of a broader Oversight investigation on whether Clinton ordered the destruction of emails that had been subpoenaed by the Benghazi Select Committee.

“If it is determined that the request to change email addresses was made by someone so closely aligned with the Secretary's IT operation as Mr. Combetta, then it will certainly prompt additional inquiry,” Meadows told The Hill. “The date of the Reddit post in relationship to the establishment of the Select Committee on Benghazi is also troubling.”

The Reddit message was sent on July 23, 2014, according to an archive of the page saved by other users. The day before, the Benghazi Committee had reached an agreement with the State Department on the production of related records, according the FBI's investigation into Clinton's use of the server.

The identity of the "stonetear" user is not confirmed. Reddit users point to the fact that an account on the online marketplace Etsy for a Paul Combetta has the username "stonetear" and the inactive website combetta.com is registered to the email address stonetear@gmail.com.

Combetta appeared under subpoena in a committee hearing last week on the alleged destruction of evidence, but both he and colleague Bill Thornton exercised their Fifth Amendment right not to testify.

The committee has scheduled another hearing on the “preservation of State Department records” for Thursday.

Oversight Chairman Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) has issued a criminal referral asking the U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia to investigate deletions from the server.

This latest probe stems from revelations from the 58-page report issued by the FBI summarizing its investigation into Clinton’s use of the server.

According to the FBI’s report, an unnamed Platte River Networks technician deleted an archive of emails from the server in March 2015 — after the House Select Committee on Benghazi had issued a subpoena for records relating to the 2012 attack on the Libyan outpost.

According to the FBI’s notes, longtime Clinton aide Cheryl Mills instructed Platte River Networks to delete a set of archived emails in December 2014. Mills told investigators Clinton had decided she no longer needed access to emails older than 60 days.

But the technician apparently forgot the request and didn’t immediately comply. According to the FBI report, between March 25 and March 31 of 2015, the technician “believed he had an 'oh shit' moment and ... deleted the Clinton archive mailbox from the [Platte River Networks] server.”

Reporting from The New York Times has since identified Combetta as that technician, citing an anonymous law enforcement official and others familiar with the FBI probe.

Clinton and Mills told the FBI that they had no knowledge of the technician’s deletion of the emails. The technician, according to the report, "was aware of the existence of the [Benghazi Committee] preservation request and the fact that it meant he should not disturb Clinton's email data on the [Platte River Networks] server."

Chaffetz’s referral asks that the Justice Department investigate whether Clinton or her aides were involved in the decision to delete the archive when it was under subpoena and a request for preservation of records.

Democrats have slammed the investigation as a partisan attack designed to damage Clinton’s presidential run.

The Bank For International Settlements Warns That A Major Debt Meltdown In China Is Imminent

The pinnacle of the global financial system is warning that conditions are right for a “full-blown banking crisis” in China.

Since the last financial crisis, there has been a credit boom in China that is really unprecedented in world history. At this point the total value of all outstanding loans in China has hit a grand total of more than 28 trillion dollars. That is essentially equivalent to the commercial banking systems of the United States and Japan combined. While it is true that government debt is under control in China, corporate debt is now 171 percent of GDP, and it is only a matter of time before that debt bubble horribly bursts. The situation in China has already grown so dire that the Bank for International Settlements is sounding the alarm…

A key gauge of credit vulnerability is now three times over the danger threshold and has continued to deteriorate, despite pledges by Chinese premier Li Keqiang to wean the economy off debt-driven growth before it is too late.

The Bank for International Settlements warned in its quarterly report that China’s “credit to GDP gap” has reached 30.1, the highest to date and in a different league altogether from any other major country tracked by the institution. It is also significantly higher than the scores in East Asia’s speculative boom on 1997 or in the US subprime bubble before the Lehman crisis.

Studies of earlier banking crises around the world over the last sixty years suggest that any score above ten requires careful monitoring.

Many had been anticipating that we would have already seen a major financial crash in 2016, but so far things have been pretty stable, and this has lulled many into a false sense of complacency.

But it is important to remember that we have seen corporate earnings fall for five quarters in a row, and it is expected to be six when the final numbers for the third quarter come in.

Never before in history have we had a stretch like this without major economic and financial consequences. The following comes from a recent Fortune article which referred to an earlier piece authored by Jim Bianco…

None of this, however, is apparent from how stock market indexes have been moving lately, which unlike the charts above have been going up and to the right. “Since 1947, every time profits fell this much, or for this long, a recession was either underway or about to begin,” writes Bianco. “The only exception was the middle of 1986 to early 1987.”

If you remember, there was a pretty important event that happened in 1987: A massive stock market crash that sapped close to 30% of the S&P 500’s value in just five days.

It is only a matter of time before this earnings recession takes a major bite out of Wall Street.

Stock prices can stay at irrationally high levels for quite a while, but history has shown that every bubble bursts eventually.

And when this bubble bursts, it is going to make 2008 look like a walk in the park.

A dozen police officers were injured Tuesday night in clashes with several hundred people protesting an officer-involved fatal shooting in the University City area.

The shooting follows a high-profile spate of police shootings of black men, which has led to protests from Ferguson, Mo., to Tulsa to Chicago and started the Black Lives Matter movement.

In Charlotte, a crowd of several hundred shouting protesters continued to block streets well after midnight, despite the use of tear gas by police in riot gear. Clouds of tear gas drifted over the crowd on Old Concord Road, and people coughed, hacked and fell back before walking towards police lines again multiple times.

The protesters also walked to nearby thoroughfares and disrupted traffic: By shortly before 3 a.m., the demonstrators had shut down all lanes of Interstate 85 northbound and started a fire on the highway, before being dispersed by police with nightsticks.

Throughout the night, protesters chanted slogans and held signs reading “Black Lives Matter” and “Stop Killing Us.” The scene was sometimes chaotic and tense, with water bottles and stones chucked at police lines, but many protesters called for peace and implored their fellow demonstrators not to act violently.

“Accountability!” one man shouted repeatedly at CMPD officers. “You don’t get to murder us and get away with it!” yelled another.

The protests began on Old Concord Road at Bonnie Lane, where a Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officer fatally shot a man in the parking lot of a University City apartment complex Tuesday afternoon.

The man who died was identified late Tuesday as Keith Lamont Scott, 43, and the officer who fired the fatal shot was CMPD Officer Brentley Vinson, a police statement said. Both men were African-American, a police source confirmed.

Police said they had been searching for someone who had an outstanding warrant at The Village at College Downs complex on Old Concord Road when they saw Scott leave his car holding a gun.

Officers approached Scott after he got back into the car. He emerged from the car again armed with a firearm “and posed an imminent deadly threat to the officers, who subsequently fired their weapon striking the subject,” police said in a statement. “The officers immediately requested Medic and began performing CPR.”

Medic took Scott to Carolinas Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Scott was not the person officers were searching for to arrest on the outstanding warrants, CMPD Chief Kerr Putney told reporters later.

Police said they recovered the firearm Scott was holding. But a woman who said she is Scott’s daughter claimed on a live-streamed video on Facebook that Scott was unarmed when he was shot. The video went viral, with more than 521,000 views by 9:30 p.m.

In the video, the woman said her father was sitting in his car reading a book and waiting for the school bus to drop off his son. She claimed that her father was Tasered and then shot four times, and that he was disabled.

“IT WAS A BOOK” one protester’s sign read.

Police declined to respond directly to the woman’s accusations.

The protesters began to gather as night fell, hours after the shooting. They held signs that said “Stop Killing Us” and “Black Lives Matter,” and they chanted “No justice, no peace.”

A CMPD helicopter circled very low over the crowd, shining a bright searchlight on the protesters. Old Concord Road was shut down. Some protesters began to throw water bottles and rocks.

Shortly before 11 p.m., police donned gas masks. Soon, clouds of tear gas bloomed in front of their lines.

Protesters damaged at least two CMPD vehicles, one cruiser and one SUV, which were removed from the scene. One officer was hit in the face with a rock, CMPD said. Observer news partner WBTV said three of its reporters were hit during the protest, and at least one went to the hospital after a blow to the head.

At one point, the crowd began pushing down the ramp from Old Concord to Harris Boulevard West, blocking the road. Police deployed tear gas on that road as well.

Not all the interactions were so tense. Around 1 a.m. Wednesday, police were seen handing bottles of water to the several dozen people who were still protesting.

Hillary Clinton noted there are just 50 days before voters head to the polls, but that’s not stopping her from apparently laying low for the next 6 of them.

Clinton held a rally at Temple University today, and, according to her public schedule posted at HillarySpeeches.com, she has nothing public planned until the first presidential debate on September 26th.

Hillary will appear on “The Tonight Show” this evening in a segment that was filmed last week.

According to the schedule, over the next 6 days, Clinton’s running mate Tim Kaine will hold three events, and Kaine’s wife will appear at three, as well.
As of now, Chelsea Clinton will be holding an event on Thursday in Toledo, Ohio.

But neither Hillary nor Bill Clinton currently have any announced events.

Hillary is scheduled to appear in Hempstead, New York at the first presidential debate with Donald Trump on September 26th.

So is she giving up, or mailing it in?

UPDATE: Late Monday afternoon, Clinton’s schedule was updated to include an Orlando, Florida rally on Wednesday, September 21. Chelsea Clinton also added two events in Michigan.
